This is a short, plain-English privacy notice for Byte Sized Bites.

What we store

If you sign in with PulseID we store your PulseID id, your name, your email address and when you last signed in (administrators see that time next to your name). If you use the recipe box we also store the recipes you write, the recipes you save and the photos you upload.

Where it is kept

Your data is kept in a database on a WarPulse-operated server in the US. Photos are stored in Vercel Blob, and the site is hosted on Vercel.

Who can see your recipes

Your private recipes are visible only to you. Administrators cannot see them unless you suggest one to [Name]; then they can see that recipe.

Cookies

Byte Sized Bites sets two cookies, both only for signing in: __Host-bsb_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; using your recipe box or saving a recipe extends it, and __Host-bsb_login lasts up to 10 minutes while you sign in. It sets no other cookies and runs no analytics.

Deleting your data

You can delete your data at any time from your account page.
